Your trekking tour begins in the afternoon at our meeting point with the camels.
The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours through the Erg Chebbi dunes before you arrive at a nomadic family´s home. There an authentic dinner awaits you, and you will spend the night in a traditional Berber tent.
The next morning, after breakfast, we will set off, either on foot or by camel, for a 2–3-hour trek through the impressive Sahara dunes. After a break with a small picnic, we will continue for another 2.5 hours and arrive at our campsite nestled in the dunes. Together we will set up the tents and enjoy the sunset from our wild camp. Afterward we will prepare our dinner and have the evening around the campfire.
If you like to get up early, you can watch the sunrise from our wild camp the next morning. After breakfast we will break camp, prepare the camels and head back through the Erg Chebbi.
Arrival at the starting point – and also the end of your authentic trekking tour – will be around 11-12 o´clock am.
