Tour: Camel Trek – Living The Desert
After a delicious lunch, the trek will start right into the secluded desert. You do not need to worry about anything but enjoy the experience because we will make everything ready for you. The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. We will take you to the oasis in the middle of the dunes where and spend the night around a campfire. In that magical night you will see the lights over the dunes like you have never seen them before with all their shine and intensity. In the morning you will have a chance to watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50km from Merzouga and take nice pictures that will always remind you this wonderful experience. After the breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree ‘Tamarist’ for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with. Next day we take you back to the village after having your breakfast.
