My name is Mohamed, but most people call me Ali.
I was born into a nomadic family and grew up in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga.
Together with my parents, I took care of the family’s sheep and camels. Attending school is very difficult and uncommon for nomadic children. Nevertheless, life has taught me many things! In addition to Arabic and Berber, I speak French, German, Spanish, and English. This allows me to bring my home, the breathtaking Sahara of Morocco, closer to those who are interested.
The desert is my home—I know the dunes like my garden, and my many years of experience as a certified guide make me a professional partner for your “excursion to the dunes”!
My tours are as unique as my clients. No tour is like the other. I tailor the routes to fit your needs and desires.
